Not familiar with the terms used in online Bingo Halls? We will provide information on frequently used terms.

There are a variet of terms used frequently in online Bingo and we have provided the most widely used terms.

Admission Packet – this is the minimum amount of cards that you have to buy to participate; often 3-6 cards for each game.

Auto-purchase – Often the bingo software can be set to automatically purchase cards for you.

Bingo Board – This is an electronic display board. The numbers are shown on the Bingo board as when are called.

Bingo card –This is the familiar bingo card, which has 24 spaces with various numbers and one blank spaEach Bingo card is unique.

Blackout or Coverall – A predetermined pattern is presented for the game, and the entire Bingo card must be marked in order to win.

Caller – The person who is calling out the numbers as the are drawn.

Cash-In-Prize – a Bingo game with a cash prize.

Catch-up; This feature is available on online Bingo and allows the numbers on your cards to be marked automatically as they are called.

Coverall (also called blackout) – a specific Bingo pattern which requires the entire Bingo card to be marked in order to win.

Early bird game –This is seen as a “warm-up” game.

Face – The visible portion of a bingo sheet. It contains the 24 numbers and has a blank space in the center.

Four corners – With this Bingo pattern, to win you must cover all the corner numbers of a card.

Free space – The center square of a Bingo card. It does not have a number assigned to it. Comparable to a Joker or Wild Square.

Game board – This electronic display board shows the pattern that is needed to win in a particular game.

Jackpot – This is the prize you will when you have completed and won a difficult game.

Multiple Winners – If two or more players win at the current Bingo game, and at the same time the prize money is divided between them.

Pattern – The design that you have to complete on the card to make a Bingo. The Bingo pattern can be a straight line, horizontal, vertical, or diagonal or a combination of shapes..

Progressive Jackpot –This jackpott keeps getting bigger until somebody wins it.

RNG –This is short for Random Number Generator. This machine automatically picks the numbers for a game. Used in Internet Bingo.

Split Pot – a Bingo game in which the winning player splits the sales of the game with the (Bingo hall).

Wrap up – The last game of a Bingo session.
