Keno is thought by many to be similar to Bingo, although it originated from entirely different origins. Keno is first recognized in Chino, several thousand years ago, in the Han Dynasty. Keno was first called White Pigeon Game, and was used as a way to fund the Chinese Army and to partially build the Great Wall .
In the mid 1800's a large number of Chinese immigrants came to the United States to build the Trans Continental Railroad system. Along with the immigrants came the popular game now known as Keno.
A Keno card has numbers from 1-80. You select a minimum of 4 numbers, mark them on the card, and submit the card. When the game starts, 20 balls are released from a barrel. Payout is based on the number marked and the winning numbers.
